Staff Recruit commitment to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The EU General Data Protection (GDPR) will replace the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive (European Directive 95/46/EC), with effect from 25th May 2018. The new regulation will strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union and be enforced by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
Handling candidates data and contacting candidates
When candidates register with Staff Recruit they are doing so in order to be contacted by Staff Recruit about job opportunities. Therefore, as a business we can continue processing the data supplied by candidates who register with Staff Recruit, as it is in their, and our legitimate interest to do so, any data security breach we will inform the individual and also the ICO.
Staff Recruit will request and hold this personal information until told otherwise by the individual:
- Your name
- Contact details
- Your CV
- Your salary information, notice period, right to work in the UK, reason for looking for a new job, and any additional information relevant to your job search.
- Personal Health Questions.
Furthermore we will continue to give our registered candidates control over their contact preferences options, including the option, to request Staff Recruit to delete their details from our database and any hard copies we may store on any individual candidate registered with Staff Recruit to be deleted within 21 days of their request.
Staff Recruit will never sell your personal information.
We will share your personal information with our clients by submitting your CV in order to apply for a job vacancy, upon your success in securing a new job; we will submit your personal details so that a job offer can be sent to you. By contacting Staff Recruit, you accept that consent is given to any potential new employers.
Staff Recruit would only share your personal information if requested by any official Law Governing Bodies.
Staff Recruit will also continue to adhere to both The Data Protection Act and Equal Opportunities Act as directed by the UK and EU regulations.
Staff Recruit may edit any of this statement and/or our privacy policies and practices at any time without notice, but we will inform and update any changes via our website.
In the event of any data breach of security we will immediately inform the individuals and report the incident to the ICO.
